ask again , what is the difference between early and later breakup speakers, and the affect on sound and how each is used for diferent types of music , rock , blues , country etc...and personal preferences.

As I understand it the breakup deal works kinda like this..
A speaker cone go's in and out until it gets so fast or so loud that it begins to make a wave of sorts. This is breakup. The point at which it does this can come earlier or later, depending on the design of the speaker. Correct ?
How does this affect amp sound, and the application of the speaker / amp to the type of music ?

Once the speaker's given all it's got and can't handle no more it starts to distort.

Earlier breakup means at a lesser volume the speakers can't handle it and start distorting.

I personally don't like any breakup from my speakers, but everyone has their opinions on this... I think I'm in the minority on the TDPRI page here.

There's really nothing else to it... nothing complicated.
