Custom Control Plates?

Hello all, first post here after finding this great resource of a board.....

Anyone know of a company that makes Custom Control Plates for Tele's?

Basically, i want three holes in the chrome, with no slot for the blade switch. I want to fill those 3 holes with my Volume, and Tone pots, and the one in the middle I'd like to throw a 3 way pickup selector in....

Any thoughts?

Don't think you're going to find what you're looking for.

Probably have to find a blank and drill it yourself, I'd email Callaham at www.callahamguitars.com, he could probably fix you up.

If you could live with a plastic one you could make one out of a piece of pickguard material,or get a thin piece of metal and make your own and have it chromed although i'm not sure what plating goes for these days it would have to be cheaper than having someone custom make one.I made a 3 plt b/w/b for a guy that wanted to use a gibby type toggle switch on this tele.

Just take a regular control plate and drill a hole through the switch slot. With a knob on it, the slot is barely noticable.

Hell !!......I didn't even notice the Tele !! :roll:

I was looking at Fenders on the Internet and discovered that the John 5 Telecaster doesn't have a switch on the control plate. You could drill the third hole. Maybe a dealer could order the plate. The part number is 0063865000.
