Hi all I'm new here and I'm looking for some advice.

Looking to put a new neck on MIM tele body. Who makes a good neck - Warmoth, USA Custom, WD, AllParts?

Thanks

I will go in order of playability:

Allparts, Warmoth, StewMac, Mighty Mite, WD Music Products... Some one finish the list, I can't remeber anything!

Allparts is the answer. Top quality.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were made in the same factory as Fender MIJ guitars, but that is pure conjecture on my part. On the occasions I have had to compare Strat and Tele necks from Allparts with Fender equivalents, they are almost identical in construction, apart from specific neck profiles.

Allparts are licensed by Fender, so they have probably have the blue prints or what-not. On the heel of the neck, you will see "ALL PARTS, LIC. BY FENDER" burned in or something like that.

Anyways, Allparts.

Check out the German Rockinger (www.rockinger.com) Company.
JUST PERFECT!

The necks are 100% compliant to Fender's specifications ;)

I'd have to say Musikraft.
They make awesome necks. I have one on my tele and it feels like a classical neck but not as wide at the nut. Great feel.

It beats my 52' RI replacement neck into the dirt.

So far Allparts is in the lead with 4 recomendations
I've checked their site prices are good (compared to Warmoth and USACG).

Unfortunately selection is limited - I'm looking for rosewood non-vintage radius/frets

anyone have experience with these two necks?
TRO-C rosewood 10" radius .102x.046 frets
TRO-W rosewood 9.5" radius .078x.050 frets

The .078x.050 seem a bit thin like vintage frets and the .102x.046 may be a bit too jumbo for me. Really wish they offered a fret size in the middle of those two

Also I notice they are unfinished - is it difficult to finish a neck?
