I've lost my identity!

I sold the guitar responsible for my forum name last night and shipped it out to it's new owner today!

That'd be my re-necked, re-pickuped, re-bridged, re-finished candy apple red 1957 Stratocaster.

It's a sad day in that a guitar that I've had for 8 years and my only "old wood" is gone.

On the other hand, I have another Strat that I like even better and I've freed up cash to pay a few bills and get a little gear.

As long as you're happy, that's all that matters.

So, what was original besides the body?

So, what was original besides the body?

The refinished body, Kluson no line tuners, neck plate and screws, pickguard, pickguard shield, 1 pot, spring claw, pickup covers, jack plate and most screws were original.

The cool thing is that Michael Stevens put it together in his shop in Austin back in the early '80s. I wonder what famous guitars it might've rubbed elbows (horns?) with?

He put the date of 2-14-57 and the initials MS on the neck butt before he finished it.
