ceramic and alnico speakers?tdu March 14th, 2006, 05:39 PM could someone kind of sum up the characteristics of these 2 types of speakers for me? I am shopping for a new speaker, but I really don't know a ton about them. I am interested in a Cannabis Rex speaker from it's description and I guess it's a ceramic magnet? The "Alnico is better than Ceramic" is a truism that doesn't always pan out, IMO. There's lots of very fine ceramics when matched in the right rig. I've heard Alnico's that sounded pretty flatulent. Well I have heard the Sound clip of the 12F150 and it's not bad, but what I haven't heard is the 12F150 with the light dope that everyone is raving about so if some has a sound clip that is a minute and half (preferr a 1mb file please.) I would be more the happy to listen to it. |
