Does anyone have experience with the SRV strats. I found one in a pawn shop and I'm wonderin
what I should offer them for it. I like the fat neck but are they worth the new price that are ($1,300)?

I offered $650.00.

There's one in a local store here in very good condition with orig. tweed case, and they're asking $999 US. It's been there for several months at that price, so I'm imagine it'll go for less.

Hello, new guy here!! My dad used to own a SRV Strat and it was one of my favorite guitars ever!! The V-neck on those things is incredible. The pups give the warmest strat sound. IMHO it is worth it for whatever they are asking!!

I'm not quite sure I'd go that far...but I'd offer $800 and see what sticks. gbase.com has a few in the $950ish range...in EX condition.

Those SRV strats are some of the best guitars from Fender, at least in my opinion. They usually go for $750 - $1,000 used, street price new is around $1,300.

It does not have a v-neck, JLV strat has.

The V-neck on those things is incredible.

It's actually a fairly thick oval.
