Lowering bridge pickups.Dazed and Confused January 25th, 2006, 06:28 AM I wanna lower my action so I can play faster. How do I lower the bridge pickup? alheeley January 25th, 2006, 07:12 AM You see those three fixing screws that hold the bridge pup onto the pickguard? If you turn them, it moves the pickup up or down. If you turn one of the side ones it angles it to change amount of bass/treble strength. If you turn them all the way it falls off. lemmy99 January 25th, 2006, 01:00 PM If you turn them all the way it falls off don't give dazed ideas........ he be asking how to re-attach it next. :| MikeC123 January 26th, 2006, 12:20 PM Don't they re-attach with duct tape? Dazed and Confused January 27th, 2006, 04:08 AM  I just wanted lower action... alheeley January 27th, 2006, 05:34 AM Lowering the bridge pickup will not give you lower action. You asked the wrong question maybe. Sorry, can we have the next contestant please. yegbert January 27th, 2006, 07:32 AM  I just wanted lower action... Use the height screws on each saddle to lower the action. Fender's Tele setup guide (http://www.fender.com/support/setup/telesetup.php) tells you how to measure and a starting point for string height. Still confused? alheeley January 27th, 2006, 07:43 AM Ah, you mean the little allen screws on each side of each string saddle. Do it. Turn them. retune. Play faster. jammy January 27th, 2006, 07:48 AM Ah, you mean the little allen screws on each side of each string saddle. Do it. Turn them. retune. Play faster. If only it were that easy |
