Seller says its an old refin (body and neck - 20 years ago). No nitty-gritty photos.

Body color looks like the vanilla pudding MIJ / CIJ '50s Tele color not quite right for a broadcaster

Neck looks like its never been played ....

The body looks like a '52 Reissue... :?

Looks to me like it's got steel saddles - looks quite a bit
"skinnier" than the brass ones ! (Or is it just my eyes ?)
Body and neck sure looks like my '52RI (2004).

No neck pocket lip. Correct me if I'm wrong? Didn't the early broadcasters not have a truss rod?So no scunk stripe. Man he really tried hard to make it look like those string ferrules were drilled without a jig!

Only the very few first Esquires had no truss rod - and
all of their necks bowed, which is why Leo accepted to
put a truss rod in it at all ! (He did so very reluctantly !)

So the "skunk stripe" doesn't disqualify this guitar from being a Broadcaster, though I must admit it looks very
suspicious !

You can't tell very much from those pics, but it looks real to me.
