Cream at RAH

I just got around to watching the Cream reunion concert that I taped when it was on PBS. This was the Royal Albert Hall show. Anyway, I was surprised to see Clapton spending a lot of time on the middle pickup, I would have thought it was the neck pup if I didn’t see the video. He also seemed to use the number four position, neck and mid quite a bit, but no quack. Is this because of the active boost circuit that the Clapton model Strat has, or just the way the pickups are set height wise?
Just wondering.

Well I broke down today and bought the Cream Reunion DVD.

Yeah he did use the middle pick on a lot songs. for NSU, Sweet Wine, Sittin' on top of the world and He used the Middle/Bridge and one other song I can't remember and Sunshine he used the neck/middle postion, but on Sunshine went to the middle on solo.

On Toad he used the bridge only although he did toogle the switch a little on Toad
