here's my cover of the Jimi classic. It's with my tele on the neck pup for the rythm. did it through my Behringer VAMP with the tweed combo option. I did the reverse lead thing too. which was interesting. A lot easier now than in jimis day ;) Vocals aren't the strongest I can give, but I'm a guitar player :P

I can't get it to download--sorry. savefile is buggy to begin with, but it may not want to play friendly with my Mac.

BTW, the rules of Twanger Central say no cover tunes--just originals. You're not the only one whose done it, I'm just mentioning is all. Posting cover tunes can get TDPRI in trouble if you don't have a license to do so.

Still, doesn't mean I wouldn't like to listen. :D I always enjoy Jimi covers.

I like the R.guitar style a lot. Did you use a metronome?

nope, no metronome. I just recorded a lead track for the entire song and reversed it in cool edit pro. And I got lucky as hell :) Got it on the first try.

Nice. I liked it. The Tele sounds great.
