keeley compressor?

i just got a knew keeley compressor and it sounds just awsome but when i turn it on it makes like a clicking sound through my amp. is this normal? i posted this topic on the temp tdpri also. thanks for your help.

Mine doesn't click, and my intuition is that that's not nomal. If you contact Robert he'll tell you if it's a defect or not, and I'm sure he'll make it right. That guy rocks. A++ customer service. Every custom guy should be so nice, quick with product turnaround, and great with the before/after sale service! :) Actually there's a few good guy's out there, Robert's just a great example. :D

I replied to your post on the temporary TDPRI, and wasn't sure about mine. Guess what? It does click. Clicks when I turn it on, and clicks when I turn it off. Never bothered me before. Bothers me now, though.. :roll: Thanks! :D
I guess it doesn't really bug me, though. I don't turn it on or off during a song, it's either ON or OFF. I keep trying to like it, it works great. I just generally hate compressors. I really bought it to use with my pedal steel, but it found its way into my Tele rig. I play with it for a while, then put it away. Trouble is, when I want more volume I tend to hit the strings with more force, then the compressor does its job, and I get nothin' extra. Kinda defeats half of my playing style. On the PSG, however, I am less experienced, and it saves me from drastic volume shifts from note to note. This is a big help to me, as I don't have the right hand control that I should. Best compressor I ever hated. :shock:

lol. its not really bothering me either because i leave it on all the time because i play contry music but it still sounds awsome.
