Nashville Tele Bridge Pickup Replacement [Archive]

I'd be interested in any opinions on good choices for a bridge pickup replacement on a Nashville Tele. Just looking for more warmth, good bottom end, and a little less 'ice picky'. Something good for blues and "classic rock", I'm not much of a country twang guy. I rewired my Nashville to give me the neck & bridge combination, so I need something that will sound good with the Tex-Mex neck pickup. Anyone tried the Van Zandt pickups? I did a search in this forum, but couldn't find anything about putting a Van Zandt in a Nashville.

For a rockier type tele, I'd go with Texas Specials... Or 59's from Duncan...
