I was digging a groove into my brass Callaham saddles with my B string and was starting to get the 'sitar effect on the B. I knew I'd have to switch them out.
I have been reading a lot about the Graphtech IOS compensated saddles and decided to give them a try. So far so good- the notching on the saddles gives a better break point for the strings and the guitar seems to ring quite a bit 'clearer', with a very similar sound the brass saddles, maybe a shade brighter. I used to hear the B grinding on the saddle at times and now it seems to slip right across with no friction.
It's a bit early to see if I'll dig a groove, but so far so good...
