Startouch A/B pedal problem

I emailed Tony on this and we're working it, but I thought I'd also see what thoughts the forumites had.

My Startouch A/B is currently switching between my Goblin and my PJ. First, I'm getting some God awful hum out of the PJ that is not there without the Startouch -- I realize this is likely ground loop but I thought the Startouch was supposed to handle that.

More important, I'm getting crosstalk between the A & B sides -- that is, if the "A" side is selected for the Goblin, and I zero the volume, I'm getting noticeable (not loud, but very noticeable) signal still coming out of the PJ, and vice versa when I activiate "B" and zero the PJ.

Thoughts?

Unfortunately, units that don't offer passive true bypass with isolated transformers are usually more problematic than they're worth. Unless you're willing to fork out the coin for Lehle, Radial Tonebone, or comparable, you're likely to encounter more of the same.
