Large script Telecaster logo

Just wondering if anyone has an idea what years Fender used the large script Telecaster decal, on the headstock. Thanks

Hmm, can you be more specific? Fender was always a script logo of sorts, but different versions. Telecaster was always a sans serif font.

I ain't up on my fonts... I thought the question was about the word "Telecaster". It may have been the same font, but on some it was larger and bolder than others.

That's why I asked for clarification. There wasn't a script "Telecaster" in the decal.

But, if he means what you said, when the word "Telecaster" got the big block logo, it was in 67. Continued all the way into the early 80s. The thickness of the "Fender" script portion varied during that period, including within the same years.

Hey Thanx for the reply. Sorry I was not clear. I was refering to the word "Telecaster" which is not in script. Thanks for the information!! This site is a great place to learn. I am trying to decide if I should spend the $$$ to fix a real beat tele a friend gave me.
