6 saddle vintage bridge

what years did fender use the 6 saddle vintage style bridge?? A friend gave me a tele and It has one. This tele is in real rough shape. I think it is early 70's. Thanx

I believe that they first appeared in 75. First on the Customs.

Thanx, this particular tele is the standard type, 2 single coils. It is pretty unplayable in it's current condition. My friend bought it for 100.00
