Im seriously looking at getting Bill Crook to build a T style for me. The pickup in a lot of the Crooks I've heard has the VooDoo bridge & the Adder Paisley neck. The VooDoo really sounds like a great twanger to me. Anyone using one? And your thoughts. Thanks!

A few months ago I replaced the set of Keystones that was installed in my TL-52 with the Voodoo/Adder set. It was a noticeable difference. I liked the Keystones, they are a great well balanced pickup. But as Fezz would say... they are very polite. The Voodoo is a little more rude. Slightly more aggressive in the mid-range. A little less top end without being muddy. The overall volume was pretty close between the two (I think mine is the standard wound TE50 version). The Voodoo is a wonderful pickup. It is worth the money. You will have no regrets with that configuration.
This short clip is a sample of the Voodoo TE50 pickup. Perhaps it can help in your decision (either "For or Against").
For Reference: Tele TL-52 (with Voodoo TE50)>Zvex SHO>Ego Compressor>AquaPuss Delay>GenzBenz Black Pearl 30 (Class-A setting)

I have a te50 in my pinecaster paired with a lollar firebird in the neck. The voodoo is great, meatier sounding than most bridge pickups, but still very versatile. The tone knob can make it twang or give it some dark growl. It also takes to pedals VERY well. I am a huge fan. Best tele bridge pup I've ever had.
