can i "tighten" my oaks-grigsby 4 way switch?

...seems it doesn't aways "throw" where i want it.

Take a look at it, you'll see that it's tough. It works by a wafer spring pushing a roller bearing into a notch. You'd have to find a way to increase that spring pressure or deepen the notch.

Might be best to just replace it.
