Greetings All,

My first post!

Anyone have experience with this -

I got one recently in an auction (dang ebay people forgot to outbid me) on a whim.

Here's a pic of it married to a neck I got the first day the the GFS Factory Buyout Clearance Sale -

So, this is my first foray into building (actually more like an assembly) in hopes of learning a bit more about guitars mechanics.

I have 'modified' a few of my guitars. Here's one example -

TIA for any advice re the loade tele body from ebay.

Are you going to do your own wiring? Because apart from wiring, the only thing you'll have to do is probably fret level, put tuners in, put a nut in, and screw the neck on.

I have one. It is a top-loader. The control plate screw holes are poorly positioned. I am replacing the pickguard but none of the holes align with the new pickguard. It has an import 3 way switch and mini pots. The finish is well done. The price is good especially if you are the only bidder. Of course shipping to Canada (as in my case) brings the price up by about $40.00.
