A pair of Wilkinson Vintage Tele (WVT). Great value for money (I got them cheap on ebay), and in my opinion much better than the stock pups my Indonesian Squier came with.

Both made for the Tele but have completely different sonic pallets.

I used Seymour Duncan Alnico pro 2's. Nice and mellow. Cool as opposed to Hot if you know what I mean.

Blew the neck pickup in a vintage tele so put in a Dimarzio Area T. Wanted it silent for PC input.

Great for soft-rock and jazz standards, smooth sound. Some here may not like it - hi-fi sound they say but works great so I'm putting one in the bridge also as the original was a bit noisy and peaky top end.

Don't need twang for what I play but am sure it will be there anyways when required.

#1 has a set of Fezzters with a FP-90 in the neck position
#2 is an Esquire with a Van Zandt True Vintage. At least that's what I think it's called

Lollar El Rayo bucker in the neck. Not your fathers bucker - more open and brighter, almost like a cross between a single coil and a P90, but gets thick like a traditional bucker when you roll down the guitar tone.

Lollar Special T in the bridge. Rounded highs, no ice pick, sounds fantastic in overdrive.

Five way switch: neck bucker / split bucker / neck and bridge / split neck bucker and bridge / bridge.

I pretty much get all the tones I need in one guitar. The split bucker is incredibly airy and sweet.

Mine are always on rotation amongst 3 Teles but....

A set of BK Yardbird is in one, a combination of CS Nocaster neck and '66 bridge is in another. A combination of Fralin '59 neck and SP42 bridge is in my parts Tele.

2004 American Series Tele with a set of DAllen Hot Vintage pickups. They ROCK!

SD Broadcaster in the bridge and SD Vintage Rhythm of my CV50 Tele. SD Broadcaster in my 50's Esquire. Can't say enough good things about them. They cover everything you could possibly throw at them.

Currently, the Stock SX Furrian pups, with the nickel plated cover removed from the neck pup and a full rewire job (pots, switch, jack, cap, etc...).

I installed those Harpmaster Modern Tele Pups and all I can say is they are Magnificent! Rich warm thick tone, but still maintains some of the Tele Twang. Great Rocker pups at a great price!
