Hello all!
I'm looking to get some new pups for me tele. I have a American Deluxe tele, with the SCN noiseless pickups. They just aren't for me. I'm wanting something with more punch/grit, but that will still clean up really well. I'm going to be playing mostly contemporary worship (Hillsong, Jesus Culture, etc.)
...so which tele pickups would you recommend?
Thanks!!!

Not too familiar with modern praise and worship music ( I prefer the old bluegrass or RnB type gospel music) but my OC Duff Plankster/Big Boy set does this IMO

Angeltones - I guess the name seems like a pun in this context but I have a pair and have found them to be really responsive !

It's very easy to get overwhelmed with all the pup options out there. Seems like everybody and their brother are winding them. I can tell you with almost 30 years of experimenting with various types that the hunt for your tonal nirvana is the fun part, at least to me. Recently I'm into Sheptone pups for my Strats & Fralin for my Teles. I believe Lindy makes the best Tele pups available today. I have 3 different sets & hands down the best I've found. But the tone I like will differ from person to person. I also have a Tele with Barden Danny Gatton pups in it. Really like them to. Very high fidelity pups. That's my 2 cents worth. Good luck on your search & God bless!

Howdy,
I'm very pleased with Dimarzio's affordable Twang Kings. Fantastic clean tones, with a useable neck P/U. Good luck!
