Found this is my local Craigslist. From what I could these were an 1960 - 1965 USA student model sold through Montgomery Ward, by Valco, who also made Kay. Action just under a half-inch, call it 10 mm, but where else can you get an archtop for less than $100?

Looks good. Made by Kay. Valco didn't make acoustic guitars that I'm aware of. Valco bought Kay in 1967 and went bankrupt in 1968.

PUt a 'nut jack' on it and play lap slide withthat kind of action.
