hello, i'm building a h-bucker neck, single coil bridge.used a mighty mite motherbucker on neck.21.7 on the meter.smokin hot.of course i have a hugh sound drop off going bridge only. used texas special pup in bridge.good pup. sounds pitiful in this sinario.10.5 on meter.i realize i'm out of balance.so lower the power on the neck? or does anyone make something hotter. lace tele bridge is 12.5 on the meter. thats the closest.i'm thinking i might have to do both.lower neck power , try to find hot bridge. appreciate any input. thanks

I would say that the Tele Super Distortion would be one of the highest output pickups.

I just fitted a Seymour Duncan Little '59 to the bridge of my Thinline which has given me exactly what I wanted, but it is matched up to a Gibson mini-humbucker at the neck. Nowhere near the outputs you're dealing with but I'm more concerned with tone; I let the amp worry about the output/volume.
You could lower the height of the bucker a bit?

Something like SD Hot Rails, but even that might not get you there. I don't think any single coil will cut it.

I'm not sure how thin the wire would have to be to get 20K from a tele pickup.
That 21K HB must be wound with 45AWG or something so damn thin it has to be machine wound.

you wouldnt want a single coil wound that hot.....ever.....you would pick up radio stations from the other side of the world.
