80's Lace Sensor Gold pot values?

I have a set of Lace Sensor Gold pickups from an 80's Strat Plus with the TBX and mid boost and, well, they sound muddy to me compared to traditional single coils. I have heard of a remedy being 500k pots. Do they all need to be 500k or just the volume pot? Thanks

They need to be set really close to the strings for the highs to come through.

Yes, raise them till the string slaps the top, then back off till it just doesn't.
