Ok, I need to know more quality blues instrumentals, so help me out folks.

I'm thinking around the lines of "East West" by the Butterfield blues bland.

Doesn't have to be as "exotic" as "East West", but gimme what you got!!

There's a BB King album called "Spotlight on Lucille" - all instrumentals from the sixties. Nothing like East West, but highly recommended. It may change your opinion of old B.

Thanks DaBender, good relaxing album.

I've had enough of SRV these days, but some scuttle was nice about now. :)
(EDIT: Sorry, SRV got to me again with the "Couldn't stand the weather" album. I had just recently seen a session with Stevie playing, and that got a bit naggy)

Freddy don't disappoint either.

Anyone know something thats a bit more psycedelic?

Well, I don't recall if any of the songs are actually instrumentals, but you might like Derek & the Dominos Live. No Duane, and it sounds to me like they covered a lot of ground that Phish got a lot of mileage out of much later.

And, of course, if you're not stuck on instrumentals, there's always the Jimi Hendrix "Blues" album. I think his picture's beside the definition of psychedelic in the encyclopedia.

And he has a really cool instrumental version on "Voodoo Child"

And when I think Jimi's psychedelic blues, I think Electric Lady Land. Just put the disc in and hit play.

Fleetwood Mac with Peter Green and Danny Kirwan - these guys did several instrumentals that made the hair on neck stand. I can never remember the names of the songs - Albatross, Jigsaw Puzzle blues
