Hi y'all,

I've been using Guitar Rig 5 to get an idea what pedals I might like with my Roland JC-55 by using the JC-120 simulation. I think I'd like a Rat and a Small Stone.

I guess I have a Waylon side and a classic rock side.

Any suggestions on these or other pedals?

I think just about anything works with the JC's.

^ Yep, they take pedals really well. For dirt into my 120 the Joyo crunch distortion, ultimate drive,Boss SD-1,Boss DS-1 all sound great.

Some of the Small Stones have pretty big tone suck. I actually have one like that. Aside from that, it sounds good. I still have mine after owning it for about ten years or so, but I don't keep it on my board. It's only brought in when needed.

I have a JC-120 and I use a Joyo Vintage Overdrive and Wampler Triple Wreck for distorted tones with it. I have no complaints.

I have no experience with Rat pedals.
