New challenges.HappyTelecaster August 4th, 2012, 05:11 AM Now that I have worked myself through Jaco Pastorius` DVD "Modern Electric Bass" and the "Blues Bass" book by Jack Bruce I`m up for new challenges. Can you recommend some Videos, DVDs and/or books for an advanced bassplayer that`ll keep me busy for a while? Any suggestions welcome :razz: . Consider chasing people round on songs you've never herd before as an exercise in ear training and harmony. Seriously you can learn a lot... yes there can be endless repeats of Pride 'n Joy but there is also the occasional gypsy jazz guy or ? That shows up. We had a blast and it was an amazing learning experience. |
