Overdrive Opionions Wanted\Howie or Zendrive

I am in quandary. I am looking for a good 'Dumble' style pedal and I have focused on the Zendrive and the new Menatone Howie. I play through an MXR Script Dynacomp then into an Xotic EP into a TC VPD-1 and then into a Source Audio EQ. The Amp is an Eganter Tweaker 40 112.

Any recommendations from the Forum.:?:

I am also looking at the Rockett Allan Holdsworth Overdrive. Has anyone any experience with it?

Love my ZD. I haven't tried the others, but you won't be disappointed with the ZD.

Dont have a howie, but, have a menatone red snapper. Good build.
Also look at Okko Diablo for dumblesque.
(very pricey)

While I wasn't looking for "Dumble-tone" I love my ZD. Especially with a little compression. I use a pre-Dunlop block logo Dyna-Comp.

The Wampler "Euphoria" formerly called the "Ecstasy" will give you what you want. It's not inexpensive, but very versatile and the quality is superb. The guy is one of the nicest people and very well thought of in the industry.
