Hi all,

Just picked up my squier classic vibe custom from the shop after having had brass saddles, a 4 way switch and a set of 10's added at the same time as a full setup. OMG!!!
Had her for a week before the mods and was very happy but now the transformation in tone is outstanding. Wow. Bite, twang, warmth, it has it all now.

Anyway, this site helped a lot in me making my mind up on my purchase and the mods and I have to say why has it taken so long for me to join the club? Had strats before and also have a gibby les Paul trad too but the Tele may just steal the show, especially at the £300 I paid.

Cheers guys! :)

Sure is mate. I've got family in St. Anne's actually. Just got my first Tele last week. My local shop did a couple of mods for me and I'm loving it! Thinking pickups now. Hmm...

Can I recomend Tonerider pup's then. Work fine for me and reasonable price too. No big job swapping them over:wink:Was that frets by any chance? or the one off Lord street?
Enjoy your Tele:smile:

Neither. Do you know dazsmakiz off north drive in cleveleys? Always does a great job at a good price. I've been to the store off lord street before but Daz is my usual trusted guy.

Yea know Daz in Cleveleys. Used to work with a guy at John Shaws who had a black Les Paul who told me about him but do my own set ups and builds now.

I'd like to learn how to do my own setups. Would save me a bit anyway, although Daz is always very fair with his prices. Might get some tips on here tho
