Strange Semi Pro P/Ups

Just don't try to put it anywhere but next to the bridge! At least if you plan on bending strings, you'll get drop-out between the D and G. Same with the split coil design.

Nothing against this guy, it's just physics. I think it is weird and interesting, too. In fact that's pretty much like what my first prototype looked like!

EDIT I just found a Bartolini site , but no Starz , didn't see hex offered....Its the 22 db drop between coils, high separation, so it is Bridge only. I'm still deciding on an onboard op-amp hex distortion or an offboard tube distortion set up. I'm leaning toward on board since the hex cable I have is unweldy. I also got a closer spaced HB style w 12 coils thats set up for neck or middle . The separation is 16db so you can do bends.They both sound great.
