Off-hand (or with parts on-hand), does anyone know what the specs are on the mounting screws for the Gotoh standard Tele bridge? I managed to break the head off one and was hoping to pick up a replacement on my lunch break (along with a screw extractor), but I stupidly left the house this morning without measuring it or bringing it with me.

Nobody is answering and I know you're out shopping. I'm not home either but I think the screws are #8 x 1" or so. Philips flat head. Oval head look nice, but may interfere with the saddles.

Don't know, but I'd thought I'd pass along a little information, Warmoth's "Non-tremolo bridge screw" says Phillips Oval head, length 1" thread diameter 0.14 inch, Allparts look a little different, the thread doesn't go all the way up the shaft, it says #8 x 1" on their site and they look flat.

I can check later, but
I think they are #6 x 1". That is definetely what standard tele bridge screws are.

Gah, conflicting information!

S'ok... I didn't get a chance to make it out, so I'll just check it out when I get home. I'll post my findings should anyone stumble across this in the future.

I would buy a few of each. A couple of bucks worth of screws will save you a trip back to the store. You can never have to many screws.

You can never have to many screws.
Especially when they easily become loose.....

I have some in the parts bin and they look like #6 x 1" to me.

for the gotoh bridge definitely flat head, not oval...looking at it right now..

On my 1st and 6th strings on a 9.5 radius neck, non-shimmed, the saddles are almost flat with the bridge plate, oval head screws would interfere here...
