Made in Japan Squier Bullets (question)

Okay, here's the deal: I recently came across an '84 MIJ Squier Bullet 1 (S3, black). Body was pretty beat up, the pickguard was warped, and it had mis-matched pickups, but the neck was in really good shape. I bought a second Bullet ('84 again, but a sunburst with tremolo) and used its loaded pickguard on my black Bullet.

The sunburst guitar has a decent body and good trem, but the neck needs a refret and now it has a warped pickguard with the pickups from an '80s Japanese Strat. It sounds better than my black bullet (I mean it sounds really, REALLY good!), but I wanted to keep the black one original.

My question is, would I be better off parting the sunburst guitar out, or trying to sell it complete?

I'd part it out

Sadly, a vintage guitar is worth more when you turn all the screws counter-clockwise.
