I really enjoy watching how stuff is done, such as manufacturing vacuum tubes, wiring the eyelet board on an amp, acoustic guitar building, etc.

It makes me appreciate how much labor and love goes into the final product, and also why hand-made products might cost more money.

My short list of master winders would include Fred Stuart, Alan Hamel, Ron Ellis, and Don Mare.

Of course, there are many others who are offering fantastic pickup winds.
