Anyone know of a nice, quiet easy to operate on-on-on mini-toggle?
I put a cheap on-on-on toggle from Ebay in a rewire to get single-parallel-series switching on a TV Jones Classic Plus bridge pickup, but it makes a noisy click when switching. Maybe it's a shorting/make-before-break switch -- I don't know. I also wonder if the cheap switch itself is contributing to overall noise. I was pretty careful with the soldering, as the lugs were tiny.
I have a separate push-pull to phase switch on this pickup and will be adding a cap for HOoP, and I am thinking maybe I should use a break-before-make switch to prevent popping.
For that matter, I also would like to know what your favorite on-off mini-toggle is, as well. Thanks.
