I've been lurking here for a few months, mostly asking questions regarding my MIM Road worn Tele Deluxe. I jumped the shark today and got a Bill Nash Tele 54' with Lollars (under wound humbucker in the neck position) for an great price - $1300 CAN. It's likely the nicest guitar I have played in my life. I feel I have 'arrived' Tele-wise.

Then today I found out about the Acoustasonic - I didn't even know this guitar existed i it seems perfect for me. I'm the keyboard guitar playing in a 5 piece original recording rock band. I switch between Keys and acoustic guitar frequently - using a Line 6 700 acoustic, which seems to be the easiest thing to cut through the other two guitar players (even my Takamine with a Venue doesn't seem to cut without sounding harsh). I've always been interested in the Fishman Aura system, and acoustic modeling solutions in general to live context.

Does anyone know if the Fishman aspect of the Acoustasonic can be purchased seperately? I have the tele deluxe that I was thinking of putting Filtertrons in (Cabonita).

Also does anyone know if the Acoustasonic can be found in Canada?
