Found this on vinyl yesterday. Fantastic example of " power pop ". Great
songs & playing. Very sad because the next year,tragedy struck when
Pete Ham took his own life. R.I.P. :cry:

Badfinger were a great band! Lush but with an edge and instantly identifiable.

The entire story of that group is sad...

Yeah, that's a good album. There are a lot of hardcore Badfinger fans who think that's their best album, which I don't agree with. I think that distinction goes to their first two records, although "Wish You Were Here" is the only one with what I would call a "modern" sounding record production.

As for sad Badfinger stories, check out the book "Without You - the Tragic Story of Badfinger." Great read.

Straight up is my favorite Badfinger album. We used to put the 8 track in my Craig Powerplay car stereo and just leave it there all day.

I think that Tom Evans? killed himself and the drummer died of cancer or heart attack, Joey Molland is the only one left
