Help with tele pickups...

Built a '52 tele last year and was "lucky" enough to have it turn out stellar enough for main axe. Fralin Blues Specials...neck/bridge...neck perfect from the start.

Now, I'd like to rebuild a different tele, replace pickups with p90 in the neck and humbucker in the bridge. Will again look to Lindy for help with pickups, but am loaded with questions..

1) What do I have to worry about with noise/hum?
2) P90 in neck/humbucker in bridge...relative "strength" of each? Overwound vs underwound...play mostly blues/rock/alt. country...lower volume...gritty, growlly needed...think Neil Young grindish
3) Pots/caps values for volume/tone?
4) May be rebuilding with body routed for 2 tone/2 volume controls so different pots possible
5) Wiring diagrams would be a big help

1)you don't, unless you get a really hot p90. wire a push pull for humbucker split and you have 2 hum cancelling positions (add a 4 way and you got 3, along with my favorite wiring =))
2)i'd have to think the p90 would be around 8k and the humbucker 10-12k? aim for something like that
3)500k's with the .022microfarad cap
4)if you want, but they both will need the same pots and caps
5)http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wiring-diagrams/schematics.php?schematic=tele_1hum_1sing_pushpull

and implement this http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wiring-diagrams/schematics.php?schematic=tele_1hum_1sing_pushpull if you want the 4 way.
