tricks and/or tips to place and mount neck pickup?

The title says it all. I am going to be putting a Throaty Humbucker Zexcoil with silent split (like a Strat pickup, but taller) in the neck position of my Jazzcaster and I have never installed a T neck pickup from scratch before.
