I have a Dimarzio Super Distortion T ready to go in one of my Teles and am still deciding for the other one. While some purists may hate me for it, I'm considering a full size humbucker in the bridge, wired with series-parallel switching. Before I go that far, I want to ensure i've completely exhausted my drop in replacement candidates. I prefer rails for response and aesthetics. I wouldn't mind retaining some Tele snap/punch but I want straight up drive and power too. Considered the Tone Zone T but its very similar to the one I have. Here's my question: who could wind me the pickup I hear in my head? I would strongly prefer rails but open to exceptionally quiet traditionals. Ideally I want a Tele sized Dimarzio Super3, but I know they won't make me one. Basically high output, strong tight bass, punchy mids, rolled off highs. Who can help me? Thanks!
