Hi folks:smile: My name is Paul and I'm a long term Les Paul user. I hope I'm not the only one here.
I knew I should have a Tele in my arsenal but I don't often get the chance to acquire new guitars. About a year and a half ago, a guy at work asked me if I wanted to buy his BC Rich Warlock. He's a bassist but he seems to collect all manner of instruments - quantity over quality.
'No, But if you've got a Tele I might be interested' I replied. Next time I jammed with him he brought out the Warlock and let me have a play. Still not interested but at least he tried. So he handed me his blue 2004 Affinity Tele. That's more like it! Whenever I pick up a Tele I'm always immediately at home with it and this was no exception. He had barely played it. The strings were a bit dull and I ripped my hand up a bit on the grub screws on the bridge. She was prone to feedback more than the Lesters I'm used to but I could tell we were gonna be friends. Betty's a great guitar and worth every penny of the £50 payed for her.
