Humbucker wiring

Hi guys,

I'm finishing up my tele, it's almost done. I only have to do the wiring. But I have never done that before, i found a diagram online but I still have some questions.

What i'm installing.

1 Seymour Duncan Antiquity (neck)
1 Seymour Duncan Antiquity (bridge)

1 on/on/on toggle switch (I always wanted one like this, I build it into the pickguard, anyway one of these http://www.**********************/product/SWS3-12/Switchcraft-2-Way-ONON-Guitar-Slider-Switch-Black.html

1 volume 1 tone pot (for both humbuckers.)

My question is how to wire a slider switch like that, on/on/on (how to solder switches in general actually) That's the only thing I do not fully understand.

thanks in advance
David

Yes it's possible. I don't have a way from my phone to draw it out. Maybe someone else will chime in.

Here's your generic diagram LINK (http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wiring-diagrams/schematics.php?schematic=2h_1v_1t_3w) and here's how to wire your switch LINK (http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wiring-diagrams/schematics.php?schematic=3wmt). There are several youtube videos on basic soldering where it applies to guitars

Have fun!

Welcome to the forum, DavidG. I modified one of the wiring diagrams from ********************** to show slide switch wiring.

You're welcome. You know forum rules now require you to post photos and a video/audio clip of your new guitar when you finish it!!

(Just kiddin about the rules, but would like to see and hear your guitar when you finish)
