Peavey Sanpera II

Has anyone used one of these Pedals for any of the Peavey amps designed to use it?
It connects via a pseudo midi port and so cannot be used with just any amp.
My intention is to purchase one when money permits but I'd love to hear some feedback from anyone who has tried one.

I think it's just to control channels and effects on their Vypyr series amps. It's not a multi-effects box.

Yes that is correct e-merlin. As the Peavey site states:

I was wondering if anyone had used one and was wondering about reliability, lag in the looper. stuff like that. I've been gassing for one for about 6 months now. Still waiting for cash. I was sooo close but the sale of something fell through...I'll get one yet. My Vypyr Tube 120 does everything I need and probably a lot more than most folks realize but it is a pain to get up, go to the amp, change stuff. over 400 presets and all the other stuff. Yeah, I'm sold on it. Just wondering what to really expect from someone who uses one and any problems they may have had.

I think a Vypyr and Sanpera are in my future. The SS versions are just amazing, so I will probably go that route. I have plenty of tube amps, but the Vypyr is the only SS amp I think approaches the cleans previously available only in a tube amp...

I do Love that amp. Great cleans for sure which is my number 1 preset on the amp. The pedal takes you from 12 presets to over 400 foot operated. A bit of a looper and stuff. I want it so bad. Money eludes me at present.
