For the record, I love his tone which I find second to none, also his phrasing. One of my favorite guitarists to listen to.

Wow....I've never heard anyone speak of Ford this way. I think he's one of the most talented players out there. I'm guessing you don't like Larry Carlton either.

For me, RF is a great master of the guitar. There is many concert videos of him, you 'd better take a look at them.

What a unique style and player. I"ve loved him since I heard him with the Ford Bros in 71. He was playing with Jimmie Witherspoon at 19 but then what would he know..right?

Also played in Joni Mitchells band at the ripe old age of 16! Don't know if it's still available but "The Inside Story" is my favorite record of his.

No matter what you think of his playing, I'm sure he would make a FANTASTIC teacher!

I think that tune got a lot of people into Ford. That is an awesome live version, I appreciate you sharing that.

He's one of those pickers that when you see him live or listen to his albums, it makes you want to pick up the guitar and push your limits, try something new.

His solo stuff is just top notch, then add in projects like the Jellowjackets, Miles Davis, saw some on line stuff with Michael McDonald singing. None of it over played, all of it very tasty.
