ordered a bsiab2 kit

something happened to my plan of building a 5f1.... i'll do it next summer though. I just ordered the kit from GGG. hopefully this will cure my jtm45 gas

It's a fantastic pedal & a reasonably easy build. I found it pretty sensitive to biasing the Q5 (I think) transistor, so make sure you fool around with that bias trimming pot to find the pedal's sweet spot.

It's got a permanent spot on my board.

I would advise you to obtain some different transistors so you can try different flavors of gain structure. 2N5457's and MPF102's make some nice combinations, they lower the gain to more usable levels, in my opinion.
