I got an iTunes gift card and I want to get a Joe bonamassa album that best represents his amazing guitar playing. Which do you think is the best?

Best Bonamassa Album?Mrsamlki July 24th, 2012, 08:55 PM I got an iTunes gift card and I want to get a Joe bonamassa album that best represents his amazing guitar playing. Which do you think is the best? Lunchie July 24th, 2012, 09:03 PM I really like "live at the royal albert hall" but if you dont want a live albumn id say "you & me" only because i really dig Django. Dan The Man July 25th, 2012, 06:29 AM I basically agree with Lunchie. If you're only going for one CD to summarise his playing go with the Live at the Royal Albert Hall CD - Great version of Django to kick off with, EC & Paul Jones join him for a song each, fantastic acoustic work on high water everywhere and woke up dreaming. and great versions of mountain time and asking around for you. second choice would be 'You & Me' Third would be Dust Bowl (but Driving Towards The Daylight is top notch also!!) Hope that helps? Jake_Blues July 25th, 2012, 07:03 AM Yet another vote for "Royal Albert Hall". Great stuff. Mid Life Crisis July 25th, 2012, 07:28 AM Im a big fan of his album Blues Deluxe myself. I like You and Me but for me it is where his playing started to become more "bombastic". |
