Back to music, after a twenty year layoff.
Long story short, I had always been a Les Paul Jr. guy (had more than anyone deserves in several lifetimes!), but I now have no guitars.
I have been seriously considering a Tele, but semi hollow body one. I need to get a quality instrument, with a rosewood/ebony fretboard. What I was used to playing were amazing (1954, 55, 57, 58, 59, 60 jrs!) so I need a guitar that I will not have to work at. I want more versatility, to be able to play without the amp, but that will have some umph when pushed. The sound I am going after would be somewhere near CCR to Jason and the Scorchers (Warren Hodges is a Tele guy.)
Oh, i'm looking at amps too pawnshop looks nice from fender.
