HBE Power Screamer? [Archive] - Telecaster Guitar Forum

I got one about a month ago, and I really like it. I wanted to find an od pedal that had a boost switch on it, so I could leave my pedalboard home sometimes, and just take one pedal. Plus, it's covered in vintage tweed, so it matches my Classic 30 perfectly!

I took the Power Screamer to a jam a couple of weeks ago; it sounded great, and the boost worked out well. Although the boost is fixed at 10db, it works great, and adds just enough to put you "out front." It's got three diode settings, I haven't messed with them too much yet; I like the sound of the middle setting so much, I just leave it there. In fact, I've been leaving it on all the time, and using the volume knob on the guitar more.

Also, my buddy has the HBE Big D pedal, and he loves it. It has five diode settings, an adjustable boost, and can get a lot heavier than the Power Screamer, if you need that.
