I have lost one of the tuning machine screws on my Yamaha 69' Classical guitar. It is the screw that holds the gear on.
According to Home Depot, it is a number 2 oval.
Any help on where I can find another?

I will probably take it to a local shop to see if they have one. I was just hoping I did not have to wait until next weekend to play it (if they have one).

I'm sure the hardware on any Yamaha and other Asian import would be metric sizes. PM me if you don't have any luck. I've got a few spares laying around.

I'd check the local yellow pages. I bet Houston has at least one business that sells specialty fasteners.

Sounds like a joke,
Store Clerk: "You wanna screw for the 69 Yamaha Classical guitar?
Customer: "No, but I'll go away with you for the weekend for the Fender blackface Twin Reverb"

teletuner...thank you for lending assistance. If my nearest guitar luthier doesn't have one, I will take you up on that offer. But I like to barter, so you are going that to accept something I have in return.

My local guy had one, he didn't even charge me for it. So I bought some strings that I did not need from him.
Thanks everyone for offering thier assistance. Especially you Teletuner.
