While browsing in a nearby thrift shop...

FOR $5, I WALKED AWAY WHTH THIS!!!

She needs some work and TLC, but she's at the tech's right now getting the necessary work done. I'm still trying to learn more about it, but as it is, it's REALLY well made.

Take a look at the date code pic. Is this, or could it be a 1947 guitar???

i did a little research and they appear to be MIJ in the '70s ... i'm guessing the 47 code indicates a 1974 date ... the label looks more '70s than '40s ...

Yep I agree. Label, glossy finish, pickguard, styling, all looks 1970s Asian. Might be a great player though!
