Well, her song.... played by me (haha). This started out as a backing track I made for a friend, but I got a little carried away. Enjoy.

I'm not a Gaga fan but from one picker to another I like this. :-)

Beautiful !! Wonder how you get that singing quality in your tone (besides your fingers ).Gear, pickups, effects ?

I just played this for my girlfriend, who is a big Gaga fan, without telling her what it was. She initially told me she liked it, and recognized it, but couldn't figure out what it was. I think the slide threw her, made her think it was something older. When it suddenly hit her, she started jumping up and down, and declared that it was better than the original. Nice job!

Thanks! A large part of getting that sound is in how you attack the strings (metal fingerpicks + bare thumb) and by using heavy string gauges + high action (015-.052, wound 3rd, open E). The guitar I used for the slide parts is the Squier Affinity Tele in the picture. The neck is from a Squier '51 and has Gotoh tuners. It only has a bridge pickup Esquire-style (the pickup is a GFS overwound hot rail) and an ashtray bridge with a single saddle made from a 3/8" eye bolt. The pickguard was made from a steel computer case, too! I used a Boss CS-3 and OD-3 plus a Line 6 Verbzilla straight into my audio interface (no amp or amp modeler; just compression and EQ in Logic). Here's a closeup of the Tele:

Haha thanks, I'm glad to hear she liked it! It started out as a backing track for a friend's vocal audition, but I went back and added the melody part. I think I spent less than two hours on it in total so it could be better, but hey, it was fun haha.

That was super cool.
That melody sounds great via slide and your tone and control is excellent.
I am definitely gonna show this to a southern rock guy I know. He will probably steal it though. :-)

Insane. I love the sound! Control is truly excellent!

(I'm also NOT a gaga fan... this puts her stuff to shame though!)
